The STEP profile comprises 108 questions that assess the thinking and behavioral attributes of children. Additionally, it offers practical teaching suggestions for individualizing each student’s learning. The profile gauges children’s responses to specific learning environments and teaching techniques. Some children learn best when teachers use humor, while others prefer a serious environment. Some children learn best when the teacher integrates music into the lesson.
