Deborah is a human capital development consultant and coach with a Masters degree in Education and Human Resources Development, and years of specialized experience working with local government and private sectors, SMEs and MNCs both in Singapore and abroad.
With her experience in training, human resources management and human capital development, Deborah is equally adept in working one-on-one, and/or in teams, with managers and senior-level executives to help them achieve individual and organizational performance objectives.
Deborah has worked in various capacities for such organizations as Spring Singapore (then known as the National Productivity Board, Singapore), DHL Asia Pacific Information Technology Center, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Hilton International Middle East & Asia Pacific. At Hilton, Deborah partnered with Senior Executives, VPs, General Managers, and business unit executives throughout the area to value add to their organization through various HR initiatives and leadership development programmes where the focus is on discovering & developing human potential. Having had the privilege of working with an enlightened boss and leader, Deborah believes that every time she coaches someone to be a better manager & leader, she is doing her part to make the workplace a better and more productive place for everyone involved.
As a graduate of the Corporate Coaching Programme from Corporate Coach U International in the US, and with her direct experience in human capital development, she provides her clients with the framework and tools necessary to achieve their personal best.
Areas of specialization include:
- Providing assessments that will be based on determining the specific needs of an individual and work plan for organizations by reaching goals in targeted areas.
- Leadership development, which will be achieved through 360° feedback, change management, team building, and emotional intelligence.
- Facilitating multi-cultural teams in large organizations seeking to improve team sensitivity, diversity management and team leadership.
Deborah’s educational background consists of a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English Language & Literature from the National University of Singapore. She also holds a Masters in Education & Human Resources Development from the George Washington University in the US. Currently, Deborah is a member of the International Association of Coaches.
Deborah is accredited an extensive range of psychometric instruments which she uses selectively with her clients to help them achieve their highest potential. As coach, Deborah seeks to be a catalyst and facilitator of individual and organizational development and transformation through engaging the hearts and minds of people to focus on who they are, and connect that to their life and work.
